Johnny Barrington is a writer director from the Isle of Skye. He worked at sea for two years as a ships photographer before going to The Glasgow School of Art. His two short films, TUMULT 2013, and TROUT 2007, both screened at Sundance Film Festival, SXSW and London Short Film Festivals and were both nominated for BAFTAs. SILENT ROAR his debut feature film is on the festival circuit, having premiered at Edinburgh International Film Festival. Other screenings include Marrakech International Film Festival, Raindance Film Festival, Dinard, Krakow, Giffoni, Minneapolis, New Jersey and Ljubjana. He is currently writing two new feature screenplays, NEANDERTHAL and SHEELA NA GIG.
